Morning Summary via Email

Every morning at 7:00 AM according to the account's time zone, a summary of the previous day is sent to the account's email. It also occurs on weekends, but only if any document came in yesterday. Otherwise, the summary will not be sent.

"Yesterday" refers to the entire calendar day from midnight to midnight. A document that arrives after midnight will be included in tomorrow's summary. No document will be counted twice or omitted.

What it Includes

For yesterday:

  • Received documents — how many came in from anywhere.
  • Processed documents — how many of them are completed.
  • Unprocessed documents — how many of them failed to process, including the names of the first five.

And how things look in the account now:

  • Waiting for your review — how many documents are currently pending review, regardless of when they arrived.
  • Overdue invoices and upcoming due — according to due date monitoring, deferred invoices are not counted.
  • Remaining credits.

Only your own documents are counted. Documents in a folder shared with you are summarized by their owner.

Links to the Application

Each line of the summary is a link to a location where you can see exactly what the number refers to:

  • received, processed, and unprocessed documents will open a document list filtered for yesterday and status,
  • Waiting for your review will open a list of documents in review,
  • invoices lead to the Due Dates tab, credits to Invoicing,
  • the name of an unprocessed document opens its details, where you can see why it failed.

You can change or remove the filter from the link in the document list. When you're not logged in, the application will return you to the link after you log in.

Unsubscribing

The summary is enabled for every account. You can turn it off in the settings under Morning Summary via Email, or via the link in the email footer, without logging in. Gmail and Outlook also display their own Unsubscribe button, which works the same way.

When you disable the summary via the link, you will see it in the activity. You can only re-enable it in the settings.

The summary is sent from [email protected]. No one reads replies to it.
