Xero and QuickBooks
The two most widely used foreign accounting systems. Both connect via OAuth, and you choose the company during the login process. Items in the integration list marked as not set indicate that we have not registered with the provider yet.
Xero
Received documents are recorded as Bills (ACCPAY), issued as Invoices (ACCREC). The counterparty is a Contact, matched by name and tax number — Xero does not recognize IČO (Company Identification Number), so matching is less reliable than with Czech services.
Lines are posted to the account from your chart that we find as the first suitable one for the given document type. The document is created as a draft so that a person can review it before posting. The tax is calculated by Xero based on the company's settings — it does not know the Czech rate registry, so we send the base amount without tax.
QuickBooks Online
Received documents as Bill, issued as Invoice. The counterparty is Vendor or Customer depending on the document direction, matched by name and tax number.
Each line must refer to something: a received invoice to an expense account from the chart, an issued one to a pricing item. We take the first suitable one from your account. If none exists, the document will not be sent and we will explain why — selecting it for you would interfere with your accounting. QuickBooks can only handle tax as “taxed / not taxed," taking the percentage from the company's settings.
Before You Start
For both, it is advisable to test the first live submission with a single document and check it in the target accounting system. The mapping of accounts and tax rates is different for foreign services compared to Czech ones, and it is worth knowing where the document landed.
